Elevate

Message from Leigh Peterson CEO
I am thrilled to share that NOVA’s ELEVATE campaign is set to fulfill the original vision for the NOVA-Regency Aquatics Center—a vision many of you helped bring to life. Some of you may remember standing on the second floor, gazing down into what was then a vast hole in the Macy’s floor. That space was always intended to be the spectator’s view in a world-class facility, one capable of hosting 2,000 people. Now, with your continued support, that vision is becoming a reality. At its core, this addition ensures that NOVA can continue its mission to develop swimmers and increase access for underserved populations in our community. Learning to swim is not just a skill; it can save lives, build confidence, and inspire dreams. At NOVA, it can even lead to national, international, and collegiate success.

2nd Floor New Amenity Spotlight: The Community Room
At over 2,300 square feet, the Community Room will be an instant hit for NOVA. Seasonal parent meetings, officials training, group activities, and swimmer education have all had to share space with our normal operations at both Regency and Gayton locations for years. With the completion of the 2nd floor, NOVA will now be able to offer a dedicated space for all of our needs! The Community Room will be a game changer and only will enhance NOVA’s ability to offer expanded programming for our swimmers and families!
NOVA is also excited to offer the Community Room to our Henrico County partners for school and community programming.
